KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee guard Meighan Simmons acknowledges she put plenty of pressure on herself earlier this season.

As her team's lone senior and the SEC preseason player of the year, Simmons believed she was responsible for making sure the Lady Vols lived up to ambitious goals that included playing in a Final Four in their home state. Simmons says she realized she "had to calm down" and look for her teammates to help her.

Once Simmons started doing that, she began living up to her preseason acclaim. After scoring at least 20 points just once in Tennessee's first 17 games, Simmons has reached that mark in five of her last seven contests.

No. 8 Tennessee (20-4, 9-2 SEC) seeks its seventh straight victory Sunday against No. 18 Kentucky (18-6, 6-5).
