Singer Wanda Jackson among alumni to be honored by Oklahoma City school foundation

Westminster School co-founder Jo Carol Cameron and architect James Loftis are set to be inducted into OKC Wall of Fame along with the “Queen of Rockabilly.”

Loftis attended Culbertson Grade School, Sequoyah Elementary School, Taft Junior High and Northwest Classen High School. A fellow of the American Institute of Architects, he led the design team for the award-winning Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. His firm's work at the Myriad Gardens includes the water stage and botanical garden's interior. Loftis is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City and has served three terms on the Oklahoma State Architects Licensing Board. He also served as president of Downtown Rotary Club 29.

The foundation is a nonprofit created to support students and teachers in Oklahoma City Public Schools.
