'Singin' in the Rain' screens one night only in theaters
The classic 1952 musical “Singin' in the Rain” will be shown for one day only on Thursday in two Oklahoma City theaters.
The digitally restored 60th anniversary edition of the film, starring Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Conner, will be shown at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Quail Springs 24, 2501 W Memorial Road, and Tinseltown USA, 6001 N Martin Luther King Ave.
Sponsored by Turner Classic Movies, the event will begin with a filmed introduction by TCM host Robert Osborne and Reynolds, who will share behind-the-scenes memories of the making of the musical comedy that first introduced her to audiences.
