Skiatook mother arrested after baby ingests methamphetamine

A Skiatook woman whose infant was hospitalized with high levels of methamphetamine in her system was arrested Tuesday at a Tulsa hospital.

A Skiatook woman whose infant was hospitalized with high levels of methamphetamine in her system was arrested Tuesday at a Tulsa hospital.

Amy Lynn Daugherty, 25, is being held in the Tulsa Jail on a complaint of child neglect. Her bail is set at $25,000.

Tulsa County sheriff’s deputies were called to St. Francis Hospital late Tuesday after a pediatrician alerted them to the 8-month-old girl’s condition, Sgt. Shannon Clark said.
