There is a slight risk for severe storms Monday in Oklahoma. There is a 30 percent chance for showers Monday night and a 20 percent chance for rain Monday morning.

There is a slight risk for severe storms in central Oklahoma Monday, the National Weather Service reports.

Storms could be severe in the evening. There is a 30 percent chance for showers Monday night.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 7 a.m. Mostly sunny with a high near 90. East, southeast wind 14 to 17 mph becoming east, southeast 5 to 8 mph. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Monday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe. Partly cloudy with a low around 65. Northeast wind between 9 and 11 mph.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny with a high near 85. East, northeast wind between 9 and 13 mph.

Tuesday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 66. East wind 5 to 9 mph becoming south.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 85. West, southwest wind at 11 mph becoming east, southeast.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 70.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 88.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 70.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 90.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 70.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 90.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 69.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 89.
