Small plane makes emergency landing in Canadian Co.

RICHLAND , Okla. - A single-engine airplane made an emergency landing in a wheat field in Canadian County , and the pilot and the co-pilot escaped injury, authorities said. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Betsy Randolph said the pair walked to a farm house after the landing, which occurred about 11 a.m. Thursday, between Richland and Okarche.
