LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — National nominations keep coming in for Louisville safeties Hakeem Smith and Calvin Pryor.

Both Cardinals have been selected to the watch list for the Jim Thorpe Award given to the nation's top defensive back. It's the list that Smith, a fifth-year senior, has made this week; he's also under consideration for the Bednarik and Bronko Nagurski awards as the nation's top defensive player.

Pryor, a junior and second-team all-Big East Conference selection last season, was also named to the Bednarik list.
