Showroom windows at the Dallas Market Center can be pretty interesting.  I snapped these pictures of  the displays in the Lion Ribbon window last weekend. The gown and dress are made of ribbon, which I didn’t even realize at first glance. You can see how the ribbon is woven. And take a closer look at those rosettes.

Since these pieces are for display only, I’m sure they’re not secure enough to be worn down the aisle or to the prom. But a creative person who knows about sewing and clothing construction could probably whip up an original creation so it would withstand a night of fun without any wardrobe malfunctions.

This bridal gown made of ribbon was on display at a showroom at the Dallas Market Center.
