Snow possible later in the week in some areas of Oklahoma

A cold start to the morning as the temperature at Goodwell in the Panhandle has already dipped to 11.9 degrees at 7:40 a.m. today, according to the Oklahoma Mesonet weather network.

In Oklahoma County at 7:40 a.m., the four Mesonet stations were showing readings of either 27 or 28 degrees.

The forecast from the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office includes a chance of snow later this week.
