So far, work week has gone from minus 12 degrees at Nowata on Monday to 68 at Waurika

If you are looking out the window at blue skies or you’re enjoying temperatures in the 50s or 60s, think for a second how this work week started.

On Monday morning, Nowata’s temperature dipped to minus 12, according to the Oklahoma Mesonet. And don’t forget that also on that day, the wind chill was minus 25 degrees at Alva. 

Here’s a look back at the actual low temperatures as of 8 a.m. Monday.
