→Benefiting: Prevent Blindness of Oklahoma, children’s vision programs.

LYRIC AFTERTHOUGHT
→Event: Opening-night party for Lyric Theatre’s production of "Little Shop of Horrors.”
→Where: Rococo restaurant.
→Who: Theatergoers, cast members, patrons and staff members celebrated opening night.
SADDLE UP
→What: Seventh annual Cattle Baron’s Ball.
→Benefit: American Cancer Society.
→Invited: Cowboys, cowgirls and city slickers were invited to attend this Western-themed gala dubbed "Stars, Stetsons & Stilettos.”
→Where: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
→Program: Catered dinner by Deep Fork Grill, live entertainment by the Perry Meirs Band, live and silent auctions and raffles. Cowpoke fun also included cow milking, mud-sliding, a rodeo roping contest, stick-horse races and a Cowboy Casino.
→Special: Auction items included hand-painted plates by campers at the American Cancer Society’s Camp Live-a-Dream. These campers are young cancer survivors who have been diagnosed with cancer at some time during their youth.
→Who: Tara Linville was event chairman. Jaclyn Stelzer is community manager. Kaci Underwood is regional director.
