Something intelligent based on reason and common-sense decency

In response to Jack L. Werner (Point of View, June 9): What a breath of fresh air to read something intelligent based on reason and common-sense decency instead of ideological blindness, superstition or simply a lack of education (sometimes all three apply). Since Werner is a self-described Republican, it only made his missive hold that much more weight. Bravo!
