VETERANS F KEVIN DURANT, 19:(Signed through 2010). The Rookie of the Year averaged 20.3 points and 4.4 rebounds. Durant is the foundation for the future, a potential All-Star the Sonics will build around. G JEFF GREEN, 21:(Signed through 2010). The No. 5 pick in last year's draft, Green (10.5 average) finished strong with a 15.4 average the last 10 games his rookie season. The Georgetown product is viewed as a cornerstone piece in the rebuilding process. F NICK COLLISON, 27:(Signed through 2011). The former Kansas star averaged 9.8 points and led the team in rebounding (9.4). Because of his work ethic and leadership, Collison is the team's veteran leader. F CHRIS WILCOX, 25:(Signed through 2009). The Sonics' second leading scorer (13.4) and third leading rebounder (7.0), Wilcox is an athletic 6-foot-10 power forward. He's one of few quality players on the roster. PG EARL WATSON, 29:(Signed through 2010). The UCLA product averaged a career-best 6.8 assists in his first opportunity to be a full-time starter. He's a veteran but it's a position the Sonics would like to upgrade. SG LUKE RIDNOUR, 27:(Signed through 2010). The Oregon product was hampered by injuries last season. He averaged only 6.4 points and 4.0 assists and 20 minutes. Since he has $13 million left on his contract he's a player the Sonics wouldn't mind trading. PF DONYELL MARSHALL, 35:(Signed through 2009). He was obtained in a trade with Cleveland. With $5.9 million left on his contract, the Sonics might be forced to keep the 6-foot-9 UConn product but they would like to get younger. SG MICKAEL GELABALE, 25:(restricted free agent). Averaged 4.3 points and 1.5 rebounds. Gelabale has some athleticism for a 6-foot-7 wing player but will have to improve to make a roster stocked full of wing players. SF ADRIAN GRIFFIN, 33:(Signed through 2009). Acquired in a trade with Chicago, Griffin played very little. He is due $1.7 million but is on the bubble whether he will return. C JOHAN PETRO, 22:(Signed through 2009). The Sonics only healthy center last season, Petro averaged 6.0 points and 5.1 rebounds. Because of a cap-friendly contract ($1.9 million) he could be return but is on the bubble. C MOUHAMED SENE, 22:(Signed through 2009). The co-defensive Player of the Year in the NBA Development League, he did not play a game with the Sonics. A first-round draft pick who failed to meet expectations, his future is uncertain, especially coming off a knee injury. SG DAMIEN WILKINS, 28:(Option for 2008-09). The Georgia product averaged 9.2 points and 3.2 rebounds. Probably will not return. Speculation is the Sonics will not pick up a $3.1 million option. C FRANCISCO ELSON, 32:(unrestricted free agent). Acquired via a trade with San Antonio, it's unlikely he will return. The California product averaged only 3.3 points and 3.2 rebounds. C ROBERT SWIFT, 22:(Restricted free agent). A first-round draft pick in 2004, Swift was hampered by multiple knee injuries and hasn't met expectations. Probably will not return after averaging only 1.8 points and 2.3 rebounds. SF RONDALD DUPREE, 27:(free agent). An NBA Development League addition for , the LSU product played only four games and was nothing more than a fill-in for injured players. ROOKIES PG RUSSELL WETBROOK, 19:A defensive specialist, the Sonics selected the UCLA product with the No. 4 overall pick in the most recent draft. Averaged 12.7 points, 4.3 assists and 1.6 steals his sophomore year for the Bruins. PF D.J. WHITE, 21:Played all four years at Indiana. Averaged 17.4 points and 10.3 rebounds as a senior. A little undersized (6-foot-9, 230 pounds) but a rugged, gritty player. C DEVON HARDIN, 21:Played all four years at California. Averaged 9.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots his senior year. Viewed as more of shot-block specialist. PF SERGE IBAKA, 18:An outstanding athlete he will play in Spain for a couple of years before the Sonics bring him to the NBA. The No. 24 overall selection in the recent draft, Ibaka is 6-foot-10 project with tremendous upside.
