The tailgaters here — undergrads, grad students and their relatives — are Sooner fans, but they're tailgating in support of other teams, too.
"Boomer Sooner" adorned the edges of a crimson sign reading "Team Tailgate Club" that hung from the tailgaters' tent. Also listed on the sign were other teams such as the Bulldogs, Racers, Tigers and Wildcats.
The tailgaters' have relatives playing on the other teams on the sign. The teams were from schools in Minco, Newcastle and even Benton, La.
"This is a family tailgate," said tailgater Cortni Johnasen.
