OU led by double digits the rest of the game. Every time the Trojans made a run, the Sooners countered with Olajuwon inside.

Olajuwon finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds, as OU outrebounded UALR 35-27.

"I really tried to focus on getting angles and finishing,” Olajuwon said. "That’s something I’m going to have to be able to do throughout the tournament.”

Said OU point guard Danielle Robinson: "It started with her defensive pride. She defended their post players, got rebounds, then muscled on the other end of the floor and got easy looks.”
