Shooting guard Bola Alade will walk-on to the Oklahoma basketball team next season, Alade said on Twitter.

Alade (6-foot-3) play for John Paul II High School in Plano, Texas. Alade will be a preferred walk-on, he said.

Alade’s team fell in the Texas Associate of Private and Parochial Schools Class 5A state championship game Saturday.

The Sooners signed three players in the 2014 class–power forward Dante Buford, center/power forward Khadeem Lattin and center Jamuni McNeace.

Oklahoma loses just two seniors off this year’s team, Cam Clark and Tyler Neal. Just before the season began, forward Keshaun Hamilton decided to transfer.
