After beating previously unbeaten Texas Tech on Saturday night, Oklahoma moved back into the top 10 in at least one poll.
The Sooners jumped up three spots to No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches Poll after the 38-30 win over the Red Raiders. Oklahoma State, which beat Iowa State 58-27 on Saturday, jumped up one spot to No. 12.
In The Associated Press poll, the Sooners jumped up four spots to No. 13 while the Cowboys moved up one to No. 18.
The second BCS rankings of the season will be released Sunday night. Oklahoma was No. 15 in the initial rankings while Oklahoma State was No. 19. The USA Today Coaches Poll is an element of the BCS rankings while the AP poll is not.
Baylor moved up a spot to No. 5 in the AP poll as Missouri dropped to No. 10.
In the coaches poll, Baylor remained at No. 5 while Texas Tech fell to No. 15 in both polls.
Texas, which fell out of the rankings after losing to BYU 40-21 on Sept. 7, is still not back in the top 25 after beating TCU 30-7 in a game that ended early Sunday morning. The Longhorns are three spots out of the coaches poll, behind Arizona State and Virginia Tech.
