For the second time in two weeks, Oklahoma’s men’s basketball team picked up a commitment from a Rivals150 player.

Dante Buford, a 6-foot-7 power forward from Jacksonville, Fla., committed to the Sooners on Thursday, announcing his decision on Twitter with a simple, “I am now committed to the University of Oklahoma!”

The Arlington Country Day standout is a three-star prospect and ranked No. 128 on the Rivals150 of top prospects for the 2014 class.

He joins Khadeem Lattin, a 6-foot-9 center from Houston who is No. 124 on the Rivals list and 6-foot-10 center Jamuni McNeace as Sooners commits.

The commitment is non-binding. The early signing period for basketball begins Wednesday.

Buford visited Norman in late October and followed with a visit to South Carolina last week before choosing the Sooners.

He also had offers that included Oklahoma State, Miami, Alabama, Cincinnati, Illinois, Memphis, Texas A&M, USC and Wichita State.
