But when Griffin does depart OU, his presence will continue to be felt, maybe for some time.

It’ll be felt with Willie Warren. And Tommy Mason-Griffin and Keith "Tiny” Gallon, OU’s latest top recruits, who, according to buzz, are about to give the Sooners their first pair of McDonald’s All-Americans in an incoming class.

The chain, it seems, will not be broken anytime soon.

Consider it trickle down recruiting, the impact of getting one guy like Griffin on your campus, and the magnetism he can have in drawing more top talent toward him.
