Oklahoma will be facing its first ranked opponent of the season this weekend.

Following its 48-7 shellacking of SMU, TCU moved into the latest Associated Press Top 25 rankings, released Sunday, at No. 24.

The Horned Frogs are 4-0.

The Sooners stayed at No. 2 despite being off this past weekend.

USC, also idle, remained atop the rankings, garnering 62 first-place votes.

SEC powers Georgia, Florida and LSU round out the top five following impressive road wins.

The Bulldogs defeated Arizona State, Florida hammered Tennessee and LSU came back to knock off Auburn.

Three other Big 12 teams are in the top 10: Missouri (No. 6), Texas (7) and Texas Tech (10).

Oklahoma State isn't ranked, but is getting close. The Cowboys received the second-most votes among teams not in the Top 25.
