NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma returns to Big 12 baseball action this weekend with a three-game series at Kansas.

The Sooners and Jayhawks open their series Friday night and continue it Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Oklahoma has lost two games in a row to fall to 18-8. Tuesday night, the Sooners dropped a road game at Oral Roberts.

Hector Lorenzana won a Big 12 weekly award after hitting .474 last week. He was co-player of the week with West Virginia's Billy Fleming. It's the third week in a row that an OU baseball player was singled out for league honors.

Oklahoma has won 126 games in its series with Kansas, while the Jayhawks have won half that amount — 63.
