STILLWATER - Big game week for Oklahoma State.

Big week, too, for the rumor mill.

After the Cowboys lost tight end Jamal Mosley and linebacker Orie Lemon — both starters — early in the week, injury reports concerning quarterback Zac Robinson and linebacker Andre Sexton created a stir Wednesday. The response among fans: Enough, already!

RotoWire.com, a fantasy sports source, reported that Robinson's status "for Saturday's game against Georgia is in doubt, due to an undisclosed injury, a source has told RotoWire.com."

False, according to a program insider at OSU.

"Absolutely, positively not true," the source told The Oklahoman.

As for Sexton, the senior linebacker is expected to play against the Bulldogs, but may have been dinged in a practice.

I bet this is all rumors related to Lemon. Meaning Lemon was obviously hurt, but Sexton, Robinson, and Cox's names got used and confused with the actual injured player in the rumor.

Gundys spikes are going to fall out been a rough week for the pokes.
SEC DAWG - Sep 2, 2009 at 9:00 pm
The Dawgs are ready for who ever comes in the game at QB. That is a guarnatee. I wouldn't blame Robinson for wanting to sit out a game against a real defense so it doesn't deflate his numbers for the heisman/nfl draft. Of course the "insider at OSU" said he would play. That guy is betting on the Dawgs and hasn't fired in his bets yet.

Nocona, santa fe, who is it that is making up excuses already, the news because they are reporting possible injuries to a team..Last time I checked they do the same for the other school here in the state as well..Has nothing to do with making up excuses..Now do us a favor and go back to Goonerville where you belong..GO POKES...

Lock the players in a padded film room until Saturday; deliver their food to them and use wheel chairs to get around - no more injuries! Enough already!

I think they posted this because the rumors are flying and the Sports Animal even reported them. I think it's actually an attempt to calm the fears.

Any news company who is willing to post a stupid internet rumor for the world to see should be fired. They just want the cheap publicity and if its right they look like they know what they are doing. You tools get some facts next time.
