A south Oklahoma City credit union was robbed Thursday afternoon, and authorities are asking for the public's help in finding the robber.

The man entered the Weokie Credit Union, 7600 S Pennsylvania Ave., about 3:30 p.m. and handed the teller a note that read, “I'm armed. Give me the cash or else,” according to FBI Special Agent Martinus D. McConnell.

No weapon was seen, but the man kept one hand in his pocket during the robbery. He left the bank eastbound on foot, McConnell said.

The robber is described as a black man in his early 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing dark blue jeans, a gray T-shirt with a heavy gray jacket, dark tennis shoes and a white baseball hat with the word “Boss” in dark lettering across the front, McConnell said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 290-7770. Callers may remain anonymous.
