Southeast's Steven Smith a big fan of Buccaneers' Gerald McCoy

Defensive lineman Steven Smith wants to be like former Southeast player Gerald McCoy, who starred for OU and is now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

What is the game on the schedule you look forward to the most and why? I would have to say our homecoming game. It most important to win homecoming.

What is the hardest football drill you do? The hardest is the double-team drill when you get double-team blocked.

What has been your favorite moment in high school football? My favorite moment is just playing with my teammates and getting them going. Getting the defense hyped up and playing a good game.

Who is your sports hero? I would have to say Gerald McCoy. He played for Southeast and I adore him. He is really good, quick and strong and fast. He is very smart and very educated. I want to be like him.

What is your favorite pastime other than football? Just hanging out with my family. I like to go fishing with my dad a lot.

What is your favorite football movie? The Blind Side. He came from out on the streets to being a really good player.

If you could have one super hero power, what would it be? I would have to go with The Flash, being really fast.

What is the best and worst thing they make in your school cafeteria? The best thing they make is their chicken noodle soup. The worst thing is their pizza. It's really greasy.
