Southern sets NCAA hoops record in 116-12 win Published: December 31, 2013

Southern coach Roman Banks did not realize his team jumped out to an NCAA-record 44-0 lead and told that he did not try to run up the score in a 116-12 victory over Champion Baptist College on Monday.

Champion Baptist is an independent member of the Association of Christian College Athletics. The Tigers didn't get on the board until 5:10 left in the first half.

The Tigers travel to Baton Rouge today to take on Southern University at 7 PM tonight. Go Tigers!
