Preferred wide receiver/defensive back walk-on Nyko Symonds will join Wilson and Haywood at OU.

And more Southmoore talent is on the way to Norman.

The Sooners already have a verbal commitment from 2011 SaberCat quarterback Kendal Thompson, who is already committed to playing in next year's ESPN Under Armour All-America Game.

The 6-foot-2, 180 son of former OU quarterback Charles Thompson figures to be one of the top quarterback prospects next season.

"These kids have talent," said Southmoore coach Chris Jensen. "OU is not going to recruit kids that don't have talent."

"But we have a good rapport with the coaching staff there. Communicate with them often. Julian and Austin both have outstanding athletic ability, great character kids. They're going to do what they're supposed to do to be successful and they're going to help OU be successful."
