The Oklahoman's state college football power poll for Week 10:

1. Southwestern (5-4): Back to No. 1 after a week's absence. Yeah, yeah, I know. The Bulldogs lost to East Central a week ago ...

2. East Central (4-4): ... but the Tigers following up with a loss to a not-so-good Arkansas Tech club, at home, is unforgivable. Next: Southwestern at Tarleton State, Texas (6-2), 2 p.m.; East Central at Harding, Ark. (6-2), 2 p.m.

3. Langston (4-4): Freshman quarterback Mark Wright Jr. saves the day. A touchdown pass and touchdown run, both in the fourth quarter, as the Lions come back to win at Panhandle State. Langston goes into its big Central States Football League game on Saturday at Bacone on a four-game win streak. Make it five, and the Lions are in the driver's seat for the league championship and a possible NAIA playoff berth. Next: at Bacone (7-2), 2 p.m.

4. Bacone (7-2): A tighter-than-expected win over Oklahoma Baptist. At home, too. Who knows? Either the Warriors are not as good as we thought, or maybe they were looking past OBU to this week's game against Langston. Next: vs. Langston (4-4), 2 p.m.

5. Central Oklahoma: (1-7): Victory cigars all around. Next: at Southwest Baptist, Mo. (1-8), 1 p.m.

6. Southeastern (2-7): Despite a down season team-wise, redshirt freshman running back Devlon Wortham needs 95 yards over Southeastern's final two games to reach 1,000 for the season. Next: at Arkansas Tech (4-5), 2 p.m.

7. Panhandle State (3-7): Aggies coach Russell Gaskamp said this group is better than its record indicates, especially when everyone is healthy. But injuries and two fourth-quarter turnovers doomed Panhandle State on Saturday against Langston, which escaped Goodwell with a one-point victory. Next: at Oklahoma Baptist (2-7), 2 p.m.
