Speed, small parts are among causes of toy-related injuries, Oklahoma health officials say

Now that the gifts have been unwrapped and toys and their removable parts strewed across Oklahoma homes, health officials want to remind people about the dangers they can pose.

According to public safety watchdog Safe Kids USA , 150,000 children visit the emergency room every year in toy-related incidents, and 198 have died between 1990 and 2009 from choking on toy parts.
