The Yukon Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor Spirit League Baseball beginning April 14.

The league is for people of all ages with a disability and is open to players from across the metro area.

Games will be played at J. Calvin Field inside Taylor Park, 410 N 11. The field has a rubberized playing surface along the baselines. This allows players to stay on a level and easily accessible playing surface.

Games are played at 6 and 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through June 6.

Cost is $15 per player for the eight-week season.

Registration is at the Yukon Parks and Recreation Office, 532 W Main. The deadline to register is April 10.

To learn more about the league, go to www.cityofyukonok.gov or call 350-8937.
