Sports Illustrated: Hostesses in Orange Pride program had sex with football recruits

FROM STAFF REPORTS Published: September 13, 2013

The report has come under some recent scrutiny over the past few days, including an article from ESPN that refutes claims made in the report by Fath' Carter, one of SI's biggest sources.

The magazine released a statement, sticking behind its report:

“In its 10-month investigation of the Oklahoma State football program, Sports Illustrated spoke independently with more than sixty former players and eight former assistant coaches as well as members of the University's administration. Interviews were recorded and subsequently reviewed by a team of editors and fact checkers. Sports Illustrated stands behind the work and the investigation.”

Part 5 (“The Fallout”) is scheduled for release next Tuesday morning.

Here's a synopsis, from SI, of the finale:

*Part 5: The Fallout (next Tuesday morning): SI finds that many players who were no longer useful to the football program were cast aside, returning to worlds they had hoped to escape. Some have been incarcerated, others live on the streets, many have battled drug abuse and a few have attempted suicide.
