Actioncam, a new "flying” high-definition camera system, will make its network TV debut Saturday by providing overhead shots for CBS at the men’s Final Four.

The camera system, suspended by five computer-controled cables, allows operators to plot its position over the playing surface as it moves at speeds up to 50 mph. Actioncam distinguishes itself from other systems by its speed and the ability to shoot at varying angles.
Final Four notes
→Mike Patrick, Doris Burke, Rebecca Lobo and Holly Rowe will call the women’s Final Four for ESPN. The studio team of Trey Wingo, Kara Lawson and Carolyn Peck will provide reports from a set inside the Scottrade Center.
