Sports media notebook: ESPN's 'College GameDay' will be at KU-Missouri game Saturday

ESPN's basketball version of “College GameDay” will be in Columbia, Mo., for the first time on Saturday (9 a.m., ESPNU; 10 a.m., 7 p.m., ESPN) to preview the No. 8 Kansas at No. 4 Missouri game at 8 p.m. Saturday on ESPN.

“College GameDay” host Rece Davis will be joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Digger Phelps and Hubert Davis. Dan Shulman, Dick Vitale and Holly Rowe will call the prime-time game.

Missouri guard Kim English, a 6-foot-6 senior, will be profiled during the 10 a.m. hour.

SHORT TAKES

* The second Bedlam women's basketball game will air at noon Saturday from Norman on the Sooner Sports Network (Bob Carpenter and Billy Tubbs), including KAUT-43.

* The OU men's basketball team makes two network appearances in three days, hosting Iowa State at 5 p.m. Saturday on ESPN2 (Mark Jones and Jalen Rose) and Missouri at 6 p.m. Monday on ESPNU (Jones and Sean Farnham).

* OSU men's team hosts Baylor at 12:30 p.m. Saturday on KOCB-34 (Dave Armstrong and Bryndon Manzer).
