OSSAA highlight shows
Fox Sports Oklahoma will begin showing new "OSSAA Championship Spotlight” shows next week, recapping state championship events in spring sports. The one-hour shows will feature highlights and wrap-ups and will be replayed several times.
50-state tour
ESPN’s "College Football Live,” 2:30 p.m. weekdays, will begin a 50-state tour on Monday, exploring topics specific to every state, including greatest plays and games. The series begins Monday with Michigan, including features on Desmond Howard and Charles Woodson. Former OSU star running back Barry Sanders will be featured in the Oklahoma segment on June 5.

ESPN has notified about 100 employees in Connecticut that they will be losing their jobs. ... ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN360.com are combining to show up to 55 games from the NCAA baseball tournament, including games this weekend from the Tallahassee, Fla., and Irvine, Calif., regionals. San Diego State phenom Stephen Strasburg, 13-0 with a 1.24 ERA, is expected to start against Virginia at 6 tonight on ESPNU. ... Among ESPN’s college baseball analysts are former OSU star Robin Ventura and former Texas star Keith Moreland.
