Sports media notes: CBS and Turner announce broadcaster lineups for NCAA tournament

Play-by-play announcer Andrew Catalon has been added to second- and third-round coverage.

CBS Sports and Turner Sports has announced its broadcaster lineup for the NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament. Coverage will air on TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV, beginning March 18.

As previously announced, Greg Anthony has replaced Clark Kellogg as analyst on the No. 1 team, joining Jim Nantz and reporter Tracy Wolfson. Analyst Steve Kerr will join the crew for the Final Four at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which will air on TBS for the first time.

Play-by-play announcer Andrew Catalon has been added to second- and third-round coverage, teaming with Mike Gminski and Otis Livingston.

Ernie Johnson will host studio coverage from the Final Four with analysts Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Kellogg. They also will be joined by Doug Gottlieb, Reggie Miller, Seth Davis, Grant Hill and college coaches.

The announcer lineups (the first four teams will cover Sweet 16 games):

•Jim Nantz, Greg Anthony, Tracy Wolfson.

•Marv Albert, Steve Kerr, Craig Sager.

•Verne Lundquist, Bill Raftery, Allie LaForce.

•Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller, Len Elmore, Rachel Nichols.
