Blevins out of hospital
KWTV-9 sports director Dean Blevins was released from OU Medical Center on Thursday afternoon. The former OU quarterback suffered a severe head injury on Monday when he fell on the ice in front of his home.
LeBron to call Rookie Challenge
Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has been added to TNT’s broadcast team for the Rookie Challenge at 8 p.m. Feb. 13.
Thunder players Kevin Durant, Jeff Green and Russell Westbrook will play in the game between teams of rookies and second-year players.
Kevin Harlan, Kenny Smith and Craig Sager also will call the game.

The Sports Animal, WWLS-FM 98.1 and AM-640, had an excellent fall ratings book, placing fourth overall in the 25 to 54 age demographic. WWLS was first in afternoon drive, tied for third at midday and fourth in morning drive. In listeners 12 and older, ratings were up 21 percent from fall 2007. ...
