Edmond Santa Fe falls to Tulsa Washington

There will be a new champion in Class 6A. Edmond Santa Fe entered Friday's semifinal game against Tulsa Washington having lost just two games in three seasons. But the Lady Hornets figured out a way to break through, beating the Wolves 72-70 at the Mabee Center.

This time Northeast made sure there was no comeback. After watching in horror as Fairview ended last year's Class 2A state championship game with a 10-1 run to win 38-36, the Vikings made sure a repeat performance never happened Friday morning in the semifinal rematch for a 51-35 victory at State Fair Arena.
