Last year's District 6A-1 was one of the craziest districts with so many teams in contention and beating each other up. It might even be worse this year.

Ponca City's last winning season came in 2005, when it went 9-2 and second in District 6A-3. It hopes to make the playoffs this season and get out of a four-year postseason drought.
