Millwood wanted to play well for two reasons Friday night. The Falcons, of course, needed to win to advance in the Class 2A football playoffs. They also wanted to honor the father of Millwood football, the late Leodies Robinson.

High school football fans were spoiled during the regular season as Cox Communications and KSBI-52, Thunder TV, combined to show 36 games. With the arrival of the playoffs — and even greater importance for the games — the coverage has evaporated.
