For all the talk about Dana Holgorsen's offense helping Justin Blackmon, Blackmon sure has helped the Holgorsen offense. Oklahoma State beat lowly Louisiana-Lafayette 54-28 at Cajun Stadium, and on a night when the Cowboys looked anything but a top-25 team, Blackmon saved State.
Cowboys blow up in third quarter again after halftime adjustments
With seconds remaining in the first half, Oklahoma State took the field as "Stand up and get crunk" blared on the speakers and a small deficit showed on the scoreboard.

Remember when OSU struggled to win road games? Forget that. Starting with that 45-14 win at Nebraska in 2007, the Cowboys are 9-4 in road games since. And only two of those victories came against non-conference teams. OSU is 7-4 in its last 11 Big 12 road games.

DAN BAILEY: A --- Hard to top his game-winning field goal against Texas A&M, but Bailey's two 52-yard field goals and a 47-yarder were huge. No Cowboy has had two 50-yard-plus field goals in the same game since Luke Phillips against OU in 2001.
Brandon Weeden's two interceptions are no fatal flaws
The stat sheet never lies. But sometimes it does mislead. And there in another big Brandon Weeden passing performance (351 yards and five touchdowns against Louisiana-Lafayette), was the one "yeah, but..." negative: two interceptions.
