The Sooners still aren’t near the bubble for the NCAA Tournament, thanks to some strong victories and a strength of schedule that’s among the nation’s best. But much more stumbling, and Oklahoma could soon find its place in the postseason much less secure.
Junior guard Isaiah Cousins injured his right wrist early in Saturday’s 68-59 loss at Baylor. Though Cousins returned twice after the injury, it eventually led him to miss the final 15:40. An X-ray on the wrist was negative after the game and Cousins is listed as day to day.

The No. 19 Sooners and No. 21 Baylor were tight for much of the second half but down the stretch, Oklahoma once against struggled for defensive stops and couldn’t match the Bears offensively, leading to a 69-58 loss Saturday night at the Ferrell Center.
