Back in the '80s, Buddy Burris would come by the sports department of the Norman Transcript just to chat.

Burris was an old-time football guy. Played on a state championship team at Muskogee . Played for Henry Frnka at the University of Tulsa , Bud Wilkinson at OU and Curly Lambeau at Green Bay .
