Birmingham, Ala., was the top local market with ratings of 11.0, 12.5 and 9.6 for the three games. Oklahoma City set local records with ratings of 5.6, 4.9 and 4.1.

SHORT TAKES

*Danny Kanell, a former two-sport athlete at Florida State, will be the analyst on the OU-South Carolina Super Regional baseball series airing at 7 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Monday on ESPNU. Mark Neely will do the play-by-play.

*Former OU gymnast Jonathan Horton will be among the competitors at the Visa Championships from St. Louis. NBC will air the men's finals at noon Saturday and women's finals at 3 p.m. Sunday. Results from the meet will determine who qualifies for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials Gymnastics competition.

*Tom Hammond and Bob Costas will co-host NBC's coverage of the Belmont Stakes, 3:30-6 p.m. Saturday, as I'll Have Another's attempts to become the first horse in 34 years to win the Triple Crown.

*ESPN and ESPN2 are combining to air all 31 matches from the UEFA European Football Championship 2012, beginning with the Poland-Greece match at 11 a.m. Friday on ESPN. ESPN Deportes also will carry all 31 matches.

*Turner Sports will begin its 30th consecutive year of NASCAR coverage with the Pocono 400 at 11 a.m. Sunday. A new weekly feature, “Next Generations,” will explore the history of NASCAR through the eyes of current and former champions — Jimmie Johnson, Ned Jarrett and Bill Elliott — and TNT analysts Kyle Petty and Larry McReynolds.
