St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Midwest City will hold health fair

St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Midwest City will hold a health fair Oct. 27. It starts at 9 a.m.

St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 800 S Midwest Blvd., will hold a health fair Oct. 27.

The fair begins at 9 a.m. with speaker Bruce McIntyre. Booths and activities will be presented in the parish hall from 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

McIntyre will speak on “Graceful Transitions” for caregivers and care receivers, including encouragement and guidance for transitions related to health, driving, home and finances.

Agencies such as Mary Mahoney Memorial Health Center, home health, hospice, assisted living and legal aid will be available. Mary Mahoney will provide flu shots (free with Medicare) and blood pressure checks. Fingerprinting for children also will be available.

New this year will be an opportunity to learn chair exercises. Anyone is welcome to attend. Child care will be available for those who make reservations in advance at 732-4802.
