State baseball tournaments: Players to watch for Classes A-B

Here's a look at some players to watch for in the state tournaments, which start Thursday.

Dylan Brooks, Lookeba-Sickles

Senior is a force at the plate, hitting .530 with nine home runs and six triples.

Chase Byndas, Dale

Second baseman is hitting .471, but is also 3-1 on the mound.

Bryce Deatherage, Red Oak

Senior shortstop and pitcher is hitting .458 this season and is 6-1 on the mound.

Dalton Tillison, Dale

Senior left-handed pitcher who is committed to Seminole State is 5-1 this season.

Tucker White, Sterling

Threw 56 innings this fall, allowing just one earned run, striking out 108 and finishing with a 7-1 record.
