Shooting victim found in car
A car speeding on SE 44 near S Lindsay Ave. was found to be carrying a shooting victim when an Oklahoma City police officer stopped it Thursday, police Lt. Rod Strecker said. The victim’s name was not released. Police believe he was shot three to five times inside an apartment at the Madison Village apartment complex at SE 54 and S Sunnylane Road, Strecker said. He was taken to OU Medical Center. His condition was not known Thursday evening.

Teen stabbed in street fight
A 16-year-old was stabbed Thursday near NW 25 and N Pennsylvania Avenue. He was taken to a hospital with wounds not considered life-threatening, an Emergency Medical Services Authority spokeswoman said. Men in a vehicle approached a group of people walking about 1 p.m. and a fight broke out, Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said. One person was taken into custody by police.
