Lodge to hold grand opening
The recently-reopened Cedar Canyon Lodge & Stables will hold its grand opening from 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday with live music and a barbecue.

The Stables Cafe at the lodge was destroyed by fire in 2006, and the lodge, once a popular destination for travelers, was shut down until earlier this year. A new restaurant, featuring western furnishings and artwork that serve as reminders of the former restaurant, opened in July at the lodge.

The lodge is adjacent to Alabaster Caverns State Park. For more information, call the lodge at (580) 621-3258.
