State College Football Player of the Week: Armonty Bryant, East Central defensive end

*Scouting report: Bryant is being honored by The Oklahoman for the second time this season. On Saturday, the big guy helped East Central recover from a two-touchdown deficit in the fourth quarter, returning a fumble 50 yards for a touchdown. The score with 9:22 left in the game gave the Tigers the lead for good, 23-17. East Central wound up defeating Southeastern State, 31-17. ... For the game, Bryant finished with nine tackles, including four for minus-22 yards; one forced fumble; one sack for minus-7 yards; and one quarterback hurry. He is the only two-time Player of the Week honoree this season. ... Bryant was also named Great American Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
