State College Football Player of the Week: Southern Nazarene's Dylan Terry

Junior quarterback threw for 362 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's win over Kansas Wesleyan.

*Scouting report: The first-year starter continued to show improvement, helping Southern Nazarene defeat Kansas Wesleyan 44-19 on Saturday in Salina, Kan. Terry, who was given the tough assignment this season of replacing record-setting QB Brady Wardlaw, completed 32 of 44 pass attempts for 362 yards and three touchdowns against the Coyotes. Terry has thrown for 1,341 yards this season — and almost half of those have come over the last two weeks. Seven of Terry's 10 total TD tosses have come over the last three weeks.

*Did you know? Terry has been twice chosen to the Central States Football League All-Academic Team. ... He was the likely backup last season to Wardlaw, but Terry missed the entire season with an injury.
