State Fair Speedway: Reed Jr. on course for modified title
Stanley Reed Jr. has all but secured the USA modified points championship at State Fair Speedway . Before Friday night's races, he led by 480 points with two races left in the 2008 season.
Barring a string of disasters, the defending champion will claim his fifth points championship – fourth in the modified division – on Aug. 31.
