State high school bands compete in invitational
FESTIVAL Edmond North takes first, Piedmont second

EDMOND — Thirteen schools from around the state participated in the 2008 Invitational Marching Band Festival at the University of Central Oklahoma Saturday.

Edmond North High School placed first while Piedmont got second place. Putnam City High School was third and Shawnee High School was fourth. Duncan and Choctaw high schools placed fifth and sixth while Guthrie High School was seventh. Ponca City High School was eighth Ada High School was ninth. Midwest City High School placed 10th.
